Participants
By participating in the IDA program you will build financial skills to obtain assets, like a home, that provide family stability. With proper participation every dollar you save will be matched by three dollars from the IDA Program.
As a participant you will set a goal (such as purchasing a home or starting a small business), attend classes designed to help you reach your goal, and consistently set aside money to be matched when you reach your savings goal.
You can use IDA's for:
- Purchasing your first home,
- Going back to school or getting skill training,
- Starting and expanding a small business,
- Repairing or modifying your primary dwelling, or
- Purchasing equipment or technology in support of your employment plan.
